Beverly Salem Bridge Mural
Through the help of City Councilor Estelle Rand, we were able to secure an interesting location for a public mural under rat Beverly-Salem Bridge. We worked for over a year to gain Harbor Management approval of the site as well as some funding for the mural. From there we were able to secure additional funding from the Beverly Cultural Council and finally we received full permission from the bridge owners, Mass DOT, to start painting. Thanks to Aubuchon Hardware in Beverly, we received some paint donations and started painting in late Fall 2017. The mural was completed on both sides in the Summer of 2018 and can be viewed on land, from the commuter rail and by boat. It’s a truly unique location.
