Based on a vintage botanical engraving, this screen print is made with three hand-cut rubylith stencils printed by hand one layer at a time. Metallic inks are layered to create depth and subtle shine.
We made these prints for Yucca Fountain, our 2019 full gallery restoration of a 1950s atomic era soda fountain at the University of Northern Colorado.
